A Motion Designer at BRĒZ brings a keen eye for compelling visuals and an instinct for creating movement that captivates audiences. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends and the ability to design content that stops people from scrolling and commands attention.

Design choices must be intentional, cutting through the noise with content worth sharing. While motion design is the focus, this role will also involve creating still graphics for web, email, social media, retail, and packaging. Experience with 3D design is highly valued, as it plays a key role in BRĒZ's visual identity.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Dynamic Motion Design: Create motion graphics that people can't ignore. From scroll-stopping social videos, kinetic type, GIFs and more.
• Campaign Strategy: Collaborate with our marketing and creative teams to develop campaign concepts and execute designs that drive engagement, excitement, and loyalty.
• Still Graphics Experience: Create bold and beautiful still graphics for use in ads, social media, web, and more—showing your versatility as a designer.
• Multi-Platform Delivery: Ensure all motion and still assets are optimized for different platforms, from Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok (maybe? lol) to web and email, delivering a seamless and consistent brand experience.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year of motion design experience and 3+ years of overall design experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design and motion tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator), Davinci Resolve, and Figma. Bonus points if you're familiar with 3D platforms like Blender or Cinema 4D.
• Creativity: A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to tell compelling stories through motion, branding, and still design.
• Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for aesthetics, color, typography, and movement, with the ability to deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines.
• Adaptability: Understanding of how motion and static design trends evolve, especially for digital platforms like social media, web, and advertising.
• Social Media Mindset: You need to be very familiar with the psychology of social media and how to create content that outperforms on each platform.
• Passion for Wellness: Excitement about BRĒZ's mission to offer generative alternatives and reshape how people think about connection, fun, and feeling good.
• Excellent relationship-building, and communication skills
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written. 
• Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division 

• Experience in the beverage, CPG, or cannabis industries is a plus.
