Job Title: Motion Graphics Finishing Producer (LA)

Job Description: The LA-based Motion Graphics Finishing Producer will primarily work with our post-production and finishing teams in the NY and LA offices. The position requires a working knowledge and hands-on experience with After Effects, as you will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of finalized graphics for A/V projects.

Responsibilities & Duties: - Ensure graphics finishes are delivered to the highest quality and efficiency standards.
- Perform quality checks in After Effects on renders and still frame checkers prior to delivery, and partner with our graphics producers to ensure the department’s quality control standards are met.
- Lead graphics finishing conversations with clients, including sending assets for approval and fielding questions or revision notes.
- Facilitate workflow and efficiency conversations between the design and finishing team.
- Partner with the graphics coordinator and production manager to schedule artists. Anticipate the departments staffing needs and communicate this with the design team.
- Liaise with the head of design and graphics production manager to protect the welfare of the design department to help prevent burnout
- Partner with our technical director to inform the development of new plugins and tools related to graphics finishing
- Raise ongoing efficiency concerns connected to client’s projects with the Head of Design.
- Enlist and coordinate support from IT as quickly as possible to solve both short term and ongoing technical issues for our designers
- Monitor and maintain graphics server and cloud organization
- Consistently high standard of quality control for all deliverables
- Graphic finishes consistently meet or exceed estimated timelines
- All A/V finishes are supported by a graphics producer
- Experience with other design software is a plus but not required.
Additional Information: - This position reports to the Head of Design
- Regular business hours are Mon-Fri 10am to 7pm. However, your start time will be different as later determined by ZEALOT.
- The position is Exempt (Salary) $115K pay is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Actual offers may vary based on work experience.
- You must be able to make a daily commute 3 x per week to the office.
