Full-Time Nanny

A dual-physician family recently relocated to Houston is looking for a warm, experienced nanny to join their family. They are seeking a nanny who will actively engage their young child in age-appropriate activities that support growth, development, and independence. The family embraces a Montessori-inspired approach, so a caregiver who encourages outdoor play and follows the child’s lead would be an ideal match. The child thrives with gentle, calm, and confident caregivers who allow her to set the tone. Candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish and comfortable with direct communication are strongly encouraged to apply. The family has a pool, so candidates must know how to swim, and they also have a dog and cats, so pet-friendliness is a must. Household duties related to the child are expected, though no deep cleaning is required, as the family employs a housekeeper. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, with core hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the summer. Once the child begins school in the fall, the schedule will shift to 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., with childcare beginning at 3 p.m. and additional household tasks completed beforehand. Flexibility is required on days when school is not in session, as the nanny will be needed for full-day care. This position is available immediately, and the family is eager to welcome a nanny who will grow with them and be a valued part of their home.

Duties will include:
• General childcare
• Light housekeeping (family has housekeeping)
• Children’s meal prep (family meal prep when child is in school)
• Children’s laundry
• Household tasks and errands when child is in school
• Driving the children
Compensation:
• Guaranteed consistent pay 52 weeks per year while employed
• Paid major holidays
• Paid vacation
• Mileage reimbursement
