Middlefield, OH

Carmel Landscapes is an eco-conscious, sustainability-driven landscape company located in Middlefield, Ohio. We are actively seeking an Office Assistant who values the environment around them. As a professional landscape, horticulture, and outdoor living contractor, we provide beautiful, sustainable landscapes you can grow with. Schedule:

  • Work From Home opportunities for eligible candidates after acclimation to our process and software
  • Flexible schedule available- Office hours are from 8:00am-5:30pm

Preferred experience:

While this is an entry-level position, we enjoy training valuable employees from the ground up. As you grow in your career, you may be expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Ability to create and manage spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Office- including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for professional communication and documentation
  • Experience with reporting and basic registration entries in QuickBooks preferred
  • Customer service skills- phone, email and inter-departmental communication
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Problem solving and organizational skills

Our Office Assistant will:

  • Client and technician communication: First contact for customer service and data entry
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate appointments with clients and estimators
  • Register entries using QuickBooks
  • Invoicing, inventory, PO, and job costing using QuickBooks and Excel
  • Purchasing occasionally
  • Database maintenance- client, mailing and vendor lists
  • Work order creation
  • Use Adobe Acrobat for document editing and form handling
