Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and licensed Special Education Teacher to provide remote teletherapy services to K-12 students across Washington for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an independent contractor position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students' lives while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. As a Special Education Teacher in this role, you will deliver virtual lessons tailored to individual student needs, track progress, and collaborate with school teams to promote academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and personalized virtual lessons that align with each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Track and monitor student progress, providing timely updates to families and staff members.
Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement strategies aimed at achieving academic goals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and any necessary reports.
Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff in a virtual setting.

Duration: Immediate start through May 2025
Caseload: K-12 students

Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teaching Certification in Washington.
At least two years of experience working with students in special education.
Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and online documentation systems.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and families in a virtual environment.
