Job Description

Are you a dedicated Special Education Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to work remotely with K-12 students? Join our team and provide meaningful teletherapy services to students across Washington for the 2024-2025 school year. This independent contractor role offers flexibility and the chance to make a real impact from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement engaging virtual lessons that align with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Track and monitor student progress, providing regular updates to families and school staff.
Collaborate with other educators, administrators, and support staff to develop effective strategies for academic success.
Support students' educational and emotional development through personalized, virtual instruction.
Ensure compliance with all relevant educational laws and regulations.

Position Details:

Contract Type: Independent Contractor
Duration: Immediate start through May 2025
Caseload: K-12 students across various grade levels
Work Environment: Fully remote

Required Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching certification in Washington State
A minimum of two years of experience working in Special Education
Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and online documentation systems
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with families and educational teams
