Family Assistant in Cary, NC

Compensation : $22+ per hour (based on experience)

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 12pm-5:00pm with some flexibility

Benefits: 1 week paid vacation

Position details:
A professional and organized family is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Family Assistant to help maintain a clean and welcoming home environment and provide care for their two daughters, aged 10 and 14. Ideal candidate is someone who values cleanliness, enjoys cooking or meal prepping, and is comfortable managing household tasks. The family has a friendly Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, so the candidate must be comfortable with dogs.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up the 10-year-old from school daily at 3pm
• Assist with homework when needed.
• Plan and prepare daily meals or handle meal prepping.
• Grocery shopping for ingredients needed for meals.
• Keep the home organized and tidy.

• Assist with laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away clothes.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience as a household/family assistant, nanny, or in a similar role is preferred.
• Highly organized, clean, and detail-oriented.
• A strong cook or someone confident with meal prepping.
• Warm, friendly, and capable of helping the family create more quality time together.
• Comfortable working alongside parents who are at home.
• Provide 3-5 professional references.

• US work authorization.
