Patient Care Technician / CNA Development Program In Partnership with Midwest Careers

About the Program:

Midwest Careers, in partnership with Gateway Regional Medical Center, is proud to launch an inclusive and hands-on Patient Care Technician / CNA Development Program . This initiative is designed to prepare compassionate, motivated individuals for a rewarding career in patient care through a structured pathway that includes education, on-the-job training, and career mentorship.

Whether you are new to healthcare or looking to transition into a more specialized role, this program is your first step toward becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) .

Program Features:

• Partnership-Driven Learning: Delivered in collaboration with Midwest Careers to combine technical training with real-world experience.

• Paid Training Opportunity: Earn while you learn in clinical setting.

• Clinical Skill Development: Learn vital skills such as taking vitals, assisting with activities of daily living, patient hygiene, mobility support, and more.

• Certification Preparation: Get support to complete CNA certification (state-approved).

• Career Support: One-on-one coaching and on-site clinical experience. Once successful completion of course , you will be placed in a position with Gateway Regional Medical Center.

Minimum Requirements:

• -High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• -Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

• -Physical ability to assist patients and stand for extended periods.

• -No prior healthcare experience required - training is provided!

Salary:

Salary for this student position is 15.00 per hour
