Job Description

Title : Patient Care Technician - Psychiatric

Location : Syracuse, NY 13215

Duration: 14 weeks of contract (extendable)

Shift Timings: (12*3- Days)

Pay: $30/hourly

Skills:

• Psych – required

License/Registration:  

• PCT/ CNA
• BLS

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to perform basic patient care such as ambulation, toileting, skin care and mouth care as needed.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with team providing updates to the nurses as needed. 
• Must exhibit a patient center focus.
• Provides constant observation of patients in need of safety watch, including those patients on suicide watch and those that are confused, agitated and/or at high risk for falls and injury to self.
