What to Expect

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead, support, and manage a team of technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate is a self-starter with strong leadership capabilities that can manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time. This leader will build a team that can work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other departments. Your experience in fast-paced production lines, as well as a strong technical background, will make you an ideal candidate for this role. You have a passion for employee development and enjoy the process of training and developing the next generation of techs. You are very hands-on, energetic, and have a capacity to think critically on many different complicated processes. Your proven ability to collaborate with employees, peers, and managers is one of your key strengths for success.

What You'll Do

• Provide technical training to all technicians focused on controls, mechanics, electrical, etc.
• Align projects to drive department goals by managing operations and driving metrics in critical areas
• Lead remanufacturing technicians on process issues analysis and problem solving
• Monitor defect trends and escalate to responsible engineering, quality, and service teams
• Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & corrective action tracking
• Work with the training department ensuring manufacturing instructions, versatility matrices, and other technical documentation are current
• Manage the cross-shift communication for the technician teams

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of experience managing teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing setting, preferred
• Experience in selecting and developing new team members
• Ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs)
• Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
• Communicate using excellent written and verbal skills; able to interface with executives and leaders daily
• Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Fluent with standard MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work a flexible shift, including nights and weekends, if necessary

Expected Compensation

• Supervisor Manufacturing - $68,000 - $102,000/annual salary
