Job Description

• â—� Plans and schedules engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities on medium to large and/or complex systems.

• â—� Maintains current job plans and specifications

• â—� Works with engineering department on design and drafting phases of jobs

• â—� Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies and services and controls timely delivery to job site

• â—� Prepares the project installation plan, manages the plan and prepares and implements job procedures

• â—� Determines, from review of various information, necessary changes in design, contract price, installation plan or other activity and implements same

• â—� Maintains construction schedule and coordinates task scheduling with other trades.

• â—� Selects and monitors the performance of subcontractors

• â—� Keeps self, superiors and subordinates informed of progress

• â—� Maintains all records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records and supervises the preparation and processing of reports for internal and external use

• â—� May estimate or assist in estimating projects which the company is bidding

• â—� Implements quality assurance program to continuously improve customer satisfaction

• â—� Present a professional image of Company when speaking to customers (all levels)

• â—� Develops a relationship with the decision maker of our customer

• â—� Routinely walks job site to ensure quality installation of Company products

• â—� Responsible for customer satisfaction on projects

• â—� Monitors job status and controls job costs

• â—� Provides information to determine labor and material requirements on a monthly basis

• â—� Assists management in monthly forecasting

• â—� Ensures proper job management and cost control by reviewing financial statements

• â—� Supervises the preparation of base data required for monthly job billing

• â—� Monitors financial and other reports and works with other management tools to define project problems

• â—� Ensures time sheets are accurately filled out, with correct job numbers, phase, ticket. Times adds up, hours are correct, time card is submitted every Monday. Also responsible for apprentice’s and installers timecard accuracy.

• â—� Devises a plan of action to remedy any problems and implements plan; all to assure project profitability

• â—� Training and development:

• â—� Studies literature and attends seminars to stay current with regards to products, processes and materials

• â—� Works with installers on Onyx installation procedures and product training for their advancement

• â—� Job Closure

• â—� Responsible for Completing As-Builds

• â—� Responsible for ensuring proper documentation stored in Google Drive using Onyx standard naming/folder structure.

• â—� Responsible for completing all paperwork, POs are all completed, Notice of Completion (NOC) is sent, and jobs are turned over to Service

• â—� Job is 100% billed and revenue is taken
• â—� Job close out report is completed
