Job Overview:

As a Recruiter at AMCON, you will play a crucial role in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent for various positions within our organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies, conducting interviews, and managing the candidate selection process. Your understanding of the industrial construction industry and keen eye for talent will be essential as you work closely with hiring managers to ensure we bring on individuals who align with our company culture and values. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to identify and attract candidates for open positions.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications and fit for the company.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Conduct background checks and reference checks as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and hiring processes in the applicant tracking system.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand departmental needs and develop targeted recruitment plans.
  • Participate in job fairs and recruitment events to promote AMCON as an employer of choice.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruiting and talent acquisition.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably in the construction or industrial sector.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and recruiting software.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with hiring managers.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive in sourcing and attractingtop talent.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Benefits

The annual base compensation range for this role is between $90,000 and $100,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications.
