Recruiter Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with hiring managers and HR leaders to assess staffing needs for union and non-union positions
• Develop innovative strategies to attract qualified candidates using job boards, social media, employee referrals, and local networks
• Manage every step of the recruitment process, from job postings and applicant screening to interviews, offers, and onboarding
• Work closely with union representatives, workforce development organizations, and educational institutions to establish strong talent pipelines

Recruiter Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment
• Experience recruiting for both union and non-union roles; familiarity with collective bargaining agreements is a plus
• Strong understanding of labor laws and hiring compliance standards
• Proven ability to manage high-volume recruiting with competing deadlines
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build trust across diverse teams
• Proficiency in ATS and HRIS platforms
• Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred.

This role is based onsite in Mundelein, IL. You’ll start onsite full-time to build relationships and learn about the team, with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule in the future.
