Position Summary: The primary location of this position is the main Cullowhee, NC campus.
The primary purpose of this position is to carry out the operation of the University recycling program. The scope of work is required to adhere to the State's mandated recycling program to reduce waste discharged into the waste stream, to be more environmentally responsible and to reduce solid waste handling costs. This work includes picking up recyclable materials following a route, delivering items to the Universities recycle center to handle, sort as required, bale as required, or prepare in required manner for subcontractor to pick-up or to provide delivery to remote collection site. This position is part of the grounds staff so it will have tasks related to grounds work assigned as needed related to the mission of the department.
Normal working hours are: Monday - Friday 4:00AM-1:30PM
