Registered Nurse – Postpartum Home Health Nurse

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in postpartum or home health nursing.
• BLS and NRP certification required.
• Strong knowledge of postpartum complications and home care recovery.

Duties:

• Conduct postpartum assessments for mothers and newborns in the home setting.
• Educate families on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum healing.
• Monitor mothers for complications such as infections and postpartum depression.
• Provide wound care and pain management support after delivery or cesarean section.
• Assist with newborn weight checks, jaundice screenings, and feeding assessments.
• Work with OB providers and pediatricians to coordinate follow-up care.
• Document all home visits and patient progress accurately.

Pay:

• Medium weekly pay range: $2,100 - $2,700
