Registered Nurse – Postpartum Mental Health Nurse

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in postpartum or psychiatric nursing.
• Certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong understanding of postpartum depression, anxiety, and mental health disorders.

Duties:

• Assess postpartum patients for signs of depression, anxiety, and mood disorders.
• Provide emotional support and mental health screenings.
• Educate families on postpartum mental health warning signs and treatment options.
• Collaborate with behavioral health specialists for appropriate interventions.
• Assist in medication management for patients requiring psychiatric support.
• Offer guidance on sleep, nutrition, and stress management techniques.
• Document mental health assessments and patient progress accurately.

Pay:

• Medium weekly pay range: $2,100 - $2,700
