Job Description

REPAIR SERVICE COORDINATOR 

The Repair Service Coordinator is an integral part of our service team. This position is responsible for serving as the primary contact between the customer and the repair departments to ensure every detail regarding any repair request is documented and communicated accurately. This position involves a great deal of customer contact and requires strong attention to detail and organization skills. This position is also responsible for ongoing communication with the customer regarding their repair. Customer relation skills should exude confidence and sincere understanding and care.

 

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work directly with customers to process incoming jewelry, watches, and other repair items.
  • Assist customers with the pick-up and sale of repaired jewelry.
  • Maintain contact with customers throughout repair process and notify them when their repair is completed.
  • Advise customers on all incoming jewelry and watch repairs and document key data including condition, features, item descriptions, etc.
  • Field incoming inquiries from customers via phone and email regarding repairs
  • Other duties as assigned


NECESSARY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIORS:

  • Minimum two years of luxury retail experience preferred, ideally in jewelry and/or watch retail, with a demonstrated concern for customers and coworkers
  • Strong drive to exceed customer expectations and deliver exceptional experiences, coupled with an appreciation for the sentimental value of jewelry
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness and eagerness to learn
  • High integrity and ethical standards, with the ability to balance conflicting priorities and strong interpersonal skills.
