Our first store opened on January 2nd, 1980 in Anaheim CA and since then we have grown to 40 stores in three counties: Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego. We offer our customers a full service supermarket with a large meat department, bakery, tortilleria and prepared foods in addition to a sizeable section of domestic and imported Latin American grocery goods to provide a Mexican homeland experience. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Anti Money Laundering compliance and company Policies and Procedures.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Promote all financial services and advise accurate information to the customer regarding the different financial services we offer with the main objective of increasing sales.
  • Assist Customers with highest level of customer service, transactions, and all the other business needs.
  • Accountable for the store and individual goals.
  • Utilize multiple software platforms to process financial transactions accurately.
  • Responsible for cash in custody ranging from $10k - $60k under custody always.
  • Responsible for compliance with policies and procedures manual of cash handling, check cashing, money transfers, cash cards, bill payments and money orders.
  • Advise Supervisor of any event that might require his/her intervention.
  • Responsible for compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering and privacy act regulations.
  • Responsible for cash vault balancing in custody and daily reconciling.
  • Responsible for the check and cash deposits to the bank.
  • Identify issues and problem solve to find a solution based on the customer needs.
  • Balance and load ATM as needed.
  • Participate in any internal or external audit.
  • Receive and deposit cash to armored service.
  • Maintain confidentiality with customer data.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements And Conditions

  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and associates internally and externally.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and Holidays, based on company need.
  • Knowledgeable of computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to understand, company manuals, forms, policies and procedures and other related documents. Bilingual preferred.

Education/Experience/Skills

  • High School Diploma required
