Job Description

Alderson Loop is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with experience in SAP to join a billing redesign project with an enterprise energy/utilities organization. This is a high-impact role on a major initiative to modernize and redesign the organization’s billing system. The project is currently in its initiation phase, and the successful candidate will play a key role in gathering business requirements and representing business interests alongside the IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT project managers to manage the early initiation phase of the billing redesign project.
• Act as the primary representative for business stakeholders, ensuring their requirements and feedback are incorporated into the technical solution.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to billing processes and system functionality.
• Facilitate communication between the business and IT departments, ensuring alignment on objectives and deliverables.
• Support the integration of data from meter systems and ensure the redesigned billing system meets both operational and technical needs.
• Help guide the project to meet its scheduled go-live date in November 2025.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of project management experience, preferably within the energy/utilities sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP, particularly within utility billing systems.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and bridging business and technical objectives.
• Preferred: PMP certification and prior experience managing utility billing projects.
