JOB SUMMARY:
Our public sector client is embarking on a transformative journey to migrate from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using RISE with SAP Private Cloud. We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and oversee this strategic initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP implementations, cloud migrations, and managing large-scale projects within the public sector.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the end-to-end SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration using RISE with SAP Private Cloud, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including scope, timelines, risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders, including government agencies, SAP partners, system integrators, and internal IT teams, to ensure seamless migration and adoption.
• Oversee data migration strategy, including data cleansing, validation, and cutover planning.
• Ensure compliance with public sector regulations, security policies, and data governance standards.
• Manage system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training programs to facilitate smooth transition and adoption.
• Mitigate risks, resolve issues, and proactively address project roadblocks.
• Drive change management strategies to ensure business continuity and user adoption post-migration.
• Provide regular project status updates, reports, and executive briefings to stakeholders.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP project management, including at least 3 SAP S/4HANA migration projects (preferably in the public sector).
• Extensive experience with RISE with SAP (Private Cloud Option) and cloud-based SAP deployments.
• Proven ability to manage full-cycle SAP implementations and migrations, including project scoping, blueprinting, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Strong understanding of public sector processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks.
• Transit Industry experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology and agile project management frameworks.
• Expertise in stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional team leadership.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
