Position Type: Seasonal (with potential for permanent Full-Time or Part-Time placement)

Overview:
Are you passionate about working with children and creating a fun, engaging summer experience? We are seeking a dedicated School-Age Summer Care Teacher to join our team! You will be working with a mixed-aged group of children (5-12 years old), fostering a safe, creative, and educational environment throughout the summer.

Duties

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, including arts & crafts, outdoor play, STEM projects, and group games.
• Supervise children to ensure safety and positive social interactions.
• Assist with meal and snack times, transitions, and daily routines.
• Foster an inclusive, welcoming environment where children can learn and grow.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children?s progress and any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom and outdoor areas.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before the start date).
• Previous experience working with children (school, daycare, summer camp, or similar).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a mixed-aged group in a dynamic environment.
• Enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable to various learning styles and needs.
