We have a phenomenal School Nurse opportunity at one of our partner school districts in Seattle, Washington. This position is in-person and full-time.

In this role, you will play a vital part in promoting student health, safety, and well-being through direct care, education, and collaboration with educators, families, and community health resources.

We are looking for School Nurses who:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) for students with medical needs.
  • Conduct health screenings, such as vision, hearing, and scoliosis assessments, and document results.
  • Monitor and manage communicable diseases in the school setting, ensuring adherence to public health guidelines.
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support students’ health needs.
  • Educate students, staff, and families about healthy practices, illness prevention, and emergency preparedness.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements :

  • Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications (required).
  • Experience in pediatric, public health, or school-based nursing preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • RNs may be required to take on additional responsibilities, such as leading healthcare initiatives or managing more complex student health needs.
