Job Description

Cordia Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant. This role will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close, and audit preparation to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in managing key accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with audit preparation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting procedures and controls
• Support special projects and process improvements as needed

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or similar role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
