About Us
Maersk Oil Trading (MOT) serves as the sourcing arm of Maersk, handling the supply, storage, purchase, and delivery of fuel for our vessels. In 2024, we managed over 12 million metric tons of fuel, with Maersk as our primary customer (80%). Fuel is one of the largest operating expenses for Maersk’s fleet, and MOT focuses on optimizing costs through blending, tolling, and barging.
We are a team of passionate industry professionals, traders, and technical experts, working as part of Maersk Energy Markets and the broader Maersk Energy Transition team. Together, we are 150 employees across key locations including New York, Singapore, Mumbai, Geneva, and Copenhagen.

Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $150,000 - $230,000 USD*
Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match.
*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
