Job Description

The Procter & Gamble U.S. Business Services Company seeks multiple Senior Managers, SAP Basis Administrator (Cincinnati, OH) to execute SAP landscape Consolidation strategy as SAP Basis technical architect for S/4 HANA Supply Chain Transformation. Lead and influence SAP S/4 HANA simplification items, delivering a solution approach wherever conflict occurs. Install, configure, maintain, and support multiple SAP landscapes and 3rd party tools. Serve as the domain specialist and focal point for architectural planning, assessment and frameworks including, capacity Tuning and Performance management. Define reusable components, frameworks, common schemas, standards, and tools to be used across platforms. Assist program and project management in identifying key technical risks, prepare and lead technical mitigation plans. Ensure SAP environment changes to include but not limited to the following: SAP Landscape Management, Transport Version including dual maintenance control, IaaS Tuning, Hypervisor Administrator, Technical Troubleshooting, Upgrade and Patching, Code Optimization. Local telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week. 10% international travel required.

Job Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field and 7 years of SAP Platform and technology experience. Must have experience with: SAP E2E Performance Engineering from ABAP, Java to Live cache, advance performance report generation trouble shooting, analysis, and self-monitoring; S/4 HANA Enterprise Management (Level 3 - Advanced); SAP BASIS Administration (Level 3 - Advanced); SAP Solution Manager (Solman) (Level 3 - Advanced); Technology Troubleshooting (Level 3 - Advanced); Supporting of ongoing SAP release and deployment projects; Supporting SAP HANA Administration and Performance Engineering; Providing analytical skills to evaluate system performance, system health checks, and implementation of tuning improvements; Providing 3rd level support in HANA Enterprise Cloud Technical Operations SAP BASIS administration, Solution Manager Architecture and troubleshooting solution manager connectivity issues; Identifying connectivity issues impacting monitoring; Technology stack knowledge for SAP Enterprise Core Component (ECC), Business Intelligence (BI), Enterprise Portal (EP), SAP HANA, SLD, Process Orchestration (PO), Supplier Portal, Web Dispatcher, and Solution Manager; SAP BASIS tasks such as Designing & Implementing Landscape and Infrastructure, Client Strategy, Capacity Planning (Sizing), High-Availability & Disaster Recovery setup, Backup & Recovery Strategy, Storage systems, SAP Upgrades, OS/DB Migration, Solutions, and Basis Administration; and SAP Global ECC, J2ee, S/4 , BW, and executing EHP upgrades. 10% international travel required. All successful candidates must pass a technical interview by P&G internal experts in the SAP Basis space and in addition the P&G standards for hiring including an online evaluation and 2 PEAK interviews.
