IV Interactive – a fast-growing, award-winning, remote-first digital agency – is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior SEO Strategist .

The Senior SEO Strategist will be responsible for the conception and execution of performance-driven SEO and content strategies for our clients. This role requires a balance of strategic guidance and hands-on execution, a focus on process optimization, and proven experience driving effective, efficient, and creative SEO solutions.

• Has a track record of developing and executing successful SEO and content strategies - and is able to articulate the approach, logic and data analysis that produced the results. 
• Possesses excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing clients and stakeholders.
• Understands the day-to-day detail and challenges across SEO, content, and digital marketing channels.
• Is hyper-organized, with experience in defining and optimizing SEO processes and managing complex projects.

What You’ll Do

SEO Strategy & Execution

• Develop comprehensive SEO strategies for IV Interactive and our clients, including technical, on-page, and off-page optimization.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and site audits to inform data-driven decision-making.
• Implement technical SEO best practices, including site architecture improvements, Core Web Vitals optimization, structured data markup, and internal linking strategies.
• Optimize content for search visibility, ensuring alignment with audience intent and SEO best practices.
• Stay up to date with algorithm updates, emerging trends, and industry innovations, proactively adjusting strategies as needed.
• Work with internal and external teams to ensure plan adherence, effective implementation, and test and monitor results and adjust(!)

Project, Process & Team Management:

• Lead efforts across internal teams, including content and development, to ensure SEO best practices are implemented effectively.
• Define and enhance SEO processes, improving efficiency and scalability.
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders, translating SEO insights into actionable recommendations that align with business goals.
• Create and present SEO reports and performance analyses, highlighting key insights, opportunities, and next steps.
• Support business development efforts, including responding to RFPs and upselling SEO services to clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree - preferred in marketing, business, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in an agency setting
• Proven experience in leading SEO initiatives, driving measurable organic growth.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience communicating SEO recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, etc.
