Job Description
Our client, a digital advertising agency in Nashville, is looking for a SEO Content Manager to join their team full-time. This role is onsite 5 days/week with WFH flexibility as needed.
The SEO Content Manager will report to the Creative Director and collaborate with other team members. This individual will be responsible for managing one staff copywriter and potential freelancers, ensuring the execution of effective organic search marketing strategies.
SEO Content Manager Responsibilities - Analyze all areas of SEO including competitor research, technical SEO, content development, site structure optimization, measurement and performance, local listings, and provide consultation
- Perform keyword research for a variety of clients across many industries and provide recommendations for content optimizations
- Develop SEO strategies for multiple clients in various industries to meet overall client goals
- Analyze keyword-level volume, ranking, impression, and click data
- Conduct SEO audits for business listings and execute optimizations
- Run local citation building campaigns and recommend link building
- Manage online reputation by responding to reviews on Facebook, Yelp, and Google
- Write SEO-optimized content for websites and blogs
- Adhere to client brand and voice guidelines
SEO Content Manager Requirements - 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- In-depth understanding of Search Engine Optimization and keyword research
- Understanding of Google Analytics and ability to develop data-driven strategies (Google Analytics Certification Optional)
- Experience in content writing/development
- Experience with local citation management platforms (e.g., BrightLocal, Moz Local)
- Excellent written communication, organizational, and time-management skills
