Lightsail is an AWS service that redefines the AWS experience for developers and business customers. It is the easiest way to get started with AWS, enabling developers to easily get their cloud stacks up and running in seconds. Lightsail does the hard work on behalf of customers, allowing them to focus on the things that matter most to them: their code, their content, their business.

As a member of the Lightsail team, your responsibilities would include:

· Designing and developing highly reliable and salable distributed system globally
· Delivering quality features on-time and on-budget and execution against project plans and delivery commitments
· Working with team members to manage the day-to-day development activities, participate in designs, design review, code review, and implementation
· Engaging and working with customers and dependencies to ensure the quality delivery
· Mentoring other engineers
· Maintaining current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology, always on a look out for new technologies and work with the team in bringing in new technologies

This position involves on-call responsibilities, typically for one week every 2.5 months. When we do get paged, we work together to resolve the root cause so that we don’t get paged for the same issue twice.

We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded engineer and enable them to take on more complex tasks in the future.

*This position requires periodic on-call responsibilities.
