Job Description

Our client is seeking a Software Engineer!The ideal candidate will develop scripts and analytics to provide novel insights into complex questions while aggregating data from various sources and integrating it into both new and existing tools. This role involves developing user interfaces and visualizations to enhance customer toolsets, eliciting requirements and feedback directly from end-users and stakeholders, and collaborating with other teams to provide expertise and leverage collective experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop scripts and analytics to provide novel insights into complex questions.
  
• Aggregate data from disparate sources and integrate it into new and existing tools.
  
• Develop new UIs and visualizations to address gaps in customer toolsets and improve existing tools.
  
• Elicit requirements and feedback directly from end-users and other stakeholders.
  
• Collaborate with other DAT teams to provide expertise where needed and leverage the experience of the broader team.
  

Requirements

• Development experience in Python.
  
• Experience building web applications with JavaScript using React.
  
• Experience querying and manipulating data from corporate repositories.
  
• Experience developing on Linux-based platforms.
  
• Proficiency with Git for day-to-day development workflows.
  
• Desire to work directly in customer spaces, collaborate, and solve challenging problems.
  
• Security Clearance: ACTIVE TS/SCI FSP
  

Nice to Have's:

• Basic familiarity with reading network device configurations.
  
• Experience with Elasticsearch.
  
• Service containerization experience with Docker or similar technologies.
  
• Experience with Kubernetes deployments.
  
• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
  
• Experience with production Computer Network Operations (CNO) capabilities and operations.
  

Location:   Fort Meade, MD

Salary:  $115K-$190K
