What You'll Do:
Tailor Education: Assess students’ abilities and adapt the curriculum to meet their individual learning needs.
Lesson Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans for students with mild to moderate disabilities.
Engagement & Intervention: Utilize innovative methods to teach skills, manage classroom dynamics, and intervene when needed.
Communication: Collaborate with parents, support staff, and other educators to discuss student progress and challenges.
Support Transition: Help students reach key milestones and prepare for their next educational phase.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Proven background in special education or a related field.
Knowledge: Familiarity with the latest special education methodologies.
Credentials: Valid Massachusetts special education certificate; BS in Special Education (MS preferred).
Skills: Exceptional patience, resilience, and interpersonal communication.
Location: Must live in the greater Boston area or be relocating there. This role is based in Boston and surrounding Massachusetts cities.
