The Senior Digital Copywriter will be a key member of our creative team. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality, persuasive, and compelling copy that drives digital engagement and attracts high-intent prospects eager to explore our wellness products. Your copy will be central to enhancing brand awareness, generating qualified leads, and supporting our mission of improving wellness through cutting-edge technology.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Copywriting & Lead-Generating Content Creation: Write engaging and persuasive copy for digital channels, including website copy, email campaigns, ads, customer journeys, product descriptions, landing pages, and social media posts, designed to attract and convert qualified leads.
  • Digital Campaigns: Support the marketing team on various promotional campaigns, new customer acquisition efforts, referral programs and new product launches.
  • Persuasive Writing: Create clear, concise, and compelling copy that captures attention and drives action, with a focus on promoting products and ideas as to engage and convert target audiences.
  • Content Library Usage: Leverage and utilize the content library created by the Editorial Content Manager to produce digital assets quickly and efficiently, ensuring consistent messaging and quality across all touchpoints.
  • Sales Alignment: Develop content that directly aligns with sales goals, helping to move leads through the funnel by creating compelling and action-oriented copy.
  • Brand Voice & Messaging: Adhere to the company’s established brand voice and tone across all content, ensuring a cohesive narrative across all brand touchpoints. Provide feedback and collaborate with the creative team to refine the brand’s messaging.
  • Customer Engagement: Craft messaging that resonates with our customer base, encouraging them to connect with the brand and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Campaign Optimization: Continuously monitor the performance of written content, using insights from analytics to inform adjustments and optimize messaging for better engagement and lead conversion.
  • SEO-Optimized Writing: Implement SEO best practices to ensure content is optimized for search engines and helps drive organic traffic while maintaining high-quality, customer-focused writing.
  • Thought Leadership Support: Occasionally contribute to thought leadership content, positioning the company as an expert in infrared sauna technology and wellness, while remaining aligned with the overall content strategy created by the Creative Director and Editorial Content Manager.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Must reside in the Kansas City Metro area with the ability and willingness to commute to HQ in Leawood, KS, at least twice a week for in-office collaboration.
  • 5+ years of exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading experience, with a focus on crafting persuasive, clear, and compelling content that drives engagement.
  • Ability to write high-converting, customer-focused content, including landing pages, email marketing, ads, and product descriptions.
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices and proven experience in writing SEO-optimized content that drives organic traffic and leads.
  • Familiarity with content libraries or asset management systems to streamline content creation, ensuring efficiency and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Background in the health/wellness, health tech, or related industries is a huge plus.
  • Agency work experience is a plus

  • Strong command of language, grammar, and tone, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and engaging copy tailored to various audiences.
  • Ability to think creatively to develop innovative content ideas that engage audiences and align with marketing goals.
  • Strong understanding of how to write in a brand's voice and adapt messaging to different audience segments while maintaining consistency.
  • Flexibility to adapt writing style and tone for different formats and digital platforms, ensuring content is optimized for each medium.
  • Ability to analyze content performance, interpret data, and make adjustments to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales and product development, to refine and weed out the strongest campaign ideas, ensuring the final deliverables meet performance goals.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to proofread and edit content for accuracy, consistency, and grammatical correctness.
  • Able to work on multiple jobs concurrently, meet deadlines, and manage time on projects efficiently with attention to detail. You’re a multitasking maestro who can deliver top-notch work without spilling a drop of your coffee, and you excel in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Takes direction well, accepts constructive criticism and applies feedback to solve problems.
  • A passion for health and wellness, particularly infrared sauna therapy, is a plus but not required.
