Job Description

BraveView represents an Emergency Service and Restoration company that has been servicing the Atlanta market for over 20 years.  They have a solid reputation in the industry and are looking for a talented professional Reconstruction Estimator to join their team.

This person will be responsible for creating job cost estimate using Xactimate to be presented to Insurance Companies for various reconstruction projects.

Visits will be required to do on the cost of materials, required labor, and overall cost of a reconstruction project while protecting the company’s profit margin.  They will also review information from the Account Manager of the job site as they gather information to properly bid on a project position. They will handle multiple projects at any given time, so strong organization skills are required.

A qualified candidate will have an understanding of how Insurance Companies review, contest, adjust, and approve estimates and they will have knowledge of Xactimate in order to write the estimate.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Reconstruction and project management understanding/experience
• Have an understanding of how Insurance Companies review, contest, adjust and approve estimates
• 5+ years experience with Xactimate and create reconstruction estimates that are interchangeable within the insurance claims process.
• Must have the ability to perform an onsite evaluation and develop a scope of work for the reconstruction needed as a result of an insurance loss.
• Create estimates to be presented to Insurance Companies and ability to communicate clearly to insurance companies and adjusters to discuss/resolve questions on the estimate(s) and get to an agreed-to-figure with the insurance company.
• Identify & write supplements as needed and get approved by insurance adjuster.
• Able to attend multiple site visits per day to effectively input measurements, sketch and detailed scope of work.
• Strong organization skills and proficiency with technology are required.
