Job Details:

Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a passion for construction and a knack for leadership? If so, we are looking for a Permanent Sr. Project Manager to join our dynamic general contracting team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion. As a Sr. Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the budget, communicating with subcontractors, and ensuring the project's overall success.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Sr. Project Manager, you will:

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle including conception, design, construction, and completion.
2. Manage and supervise construction project progress and provide reports on timeline, progress, and adjustments.
3. Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
4. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
5. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
6. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
7. Review work progress on a daily basis and perform risk management to minimize project risks.
8. Maintain comprehensive project documentation and handle any arising issues or challenges.
9. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
10. Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
3. Proven experience managing a team and working with subcontractors.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Solid understanding of construction management processes, means and methods.
6. Proficiency in construction project management software.
7. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
8. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
9. Ability to read and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
10. Experience in managing budget and scheduling.
11. Familiarity with construction and project management software programs.
12. Ability to handle and direct multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
13. Knowledge of handling Requests for Information (RFI), and experience in risk management and project forecasting.
