As the Supplier Quality Manager for Perrigo you will lead strategic quality initiatives across the OTC Michigan Supplier Quality Management team. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with cGMP, FDA, ICH, IPEC,  and other regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence in support of Perrigo’s OTC portfolio.

Scope of the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the  OTC Michigan Supplier Quality Management team , ensuring alignment with corporate quality objectives.
  • Oversee supplier quality processes for OTC raw material and packaging component suppliers, including qualification, tiering, risk assessments, and quality agreements.
  • Oversee the Supplier Quality Management System, including internal audits, CAPA, change control, and risk management.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve product quality, reduce deviations, and enhance inspection readiness.
  • Partner with Operations, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain to ensure robust quality oversight.
  • Develop, mentor, and empower a team of quality professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics and trends to proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure timely resolution of supplier-related nonconformances and customer inquiries related to OTC products.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in  Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical field .
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical quality, with 3+ years in a leadership role .
  • Strong background in  OTC product manufacturing .
  • Deep understanding of  FDA regulations, cGMP, ICH guidelines , and industry best practices; experience with Packaging and Food regulations preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex quality systems.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality systems (e.g., TrackWise, SAP).
