Job Responsibilities:

- Review accounting records and prepare adjusting entries while assembling complete workpaper files.
- Prepare federal and state tax returns, including Forms 1065, 1040, and 1041.
- Create tax projections and estimate calculations.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, personal property tax, and business license reports.
- Conduct tax research to resolve issues that may arise during the preparation process.
- Maintain open communication with team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Adhere to established procedures, rules, and regulations, while also looking for ways to streamline processes and improve workflow.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting.
- At least 3 years of current tax experience, preferably in a family office or similar environment.
- Ability to pass a satisfactory background check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with UltraTax.
- CPA certification is not required but is a plus.
