Position Summary
The Test and Balance/Cleanroom Technician will perform preventative maintenance, in addition to certified testing, correcting, and balancing specialized heating, and cooling of ventilation systems of large local commercial areas.

Maintenance
Measure and document both viable and non-viable particulates. Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements. Ability to identify and troubleshoot various air handling systems, exhaust systems, ductwork, and fluid flow equipment associated with commercial and industrial HVAC applications. Respond to emergency maintenance and service requests.

Perform certifications for fume hoods and bio-safety cabinets. Review and analyze data for reporting. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Interest and ability to join local union.

Education & Experience
A high school diploma or GED equivalent. A minimum of 2 years of previous Test and Balance/ Cleanroom experience is required. Ability to understand HVAC systems and HVAC control systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Visio. Working knowledge of fume hoods and bio-safety cabinets.
