**About the Role:**
As a Travel Consultant, you will be the face of our company, directly engaging with clients to understand their travel desires and deliver fulfilling experiences. We're looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years of experience in high-end travel planning who has extensive international travel experience and a wealth of knowledge about luxury accommodations and services. Ideal candidates will have a natural empathy for people, thrive in fast-paced environments, be impeccably organized, and possess a keen eye for detail. This role offers a chance to mentor and train our Travel Coordinators and Associates, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Communicate with ultra-high-net-worth clients via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Research destinations, culinary options, and activities for clients.
- Collaborate with suppliers (hotels, tour operators, independent guides) to curate bespoke travel experiences.
- Work with hotel concierges to make reservations for dining, entertainment, and ground transportation.
- Build detailed travel itineraries from concept to departure using our Salesforce itinerary builder.
- Track time spent on client trips through our online system and ensure compliance with CRM processes.
- Reconfirm client itineraries before their departure.
- Strive to meet or exceed established sales goals.
- Mentor, train, and delegate tasks to Travel Coordinator(s) and Associate(s).
- Handle invoicing and payment requests, ensuring smooth transactions for clients.
- Utilize Local Foreigner tools, including Salesforce and Sabre, for effective planning and organization.
- Attend and contribute to in-office or virtual meetings, staff-planned scouting trips, and conferences, which may include weekend travel.
- Provide feedback and scouting reports in a timely manner after trips.
- Collaborate on side projects that support our growth strategy.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree & based in New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in luxury travel consultancy or as an Executive Assistant, with direct client-facing experience.
- Extensive international travel experience (minimum 20 countries) and strong knowledge of luxury products within those regions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and persuade effectively.
- Experience curating unique travel experiences for discerning clients.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and professionally.
- Team-oriented, collaborative spirit with a strong work ethic.
- Proactive and resourceful problem-solver.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills and the ability to multitask.
- Positive attitude and unwavering passion for travel, reflecting our brand ethos.
- Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office (Excel skills are essential); knowledge of Sabre, Adobe Suite, and Salesforce is a plus.
