This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Volt is immediately hiring for NDT Technician - Visual in Decatur, IL. 2nd or 3rd Shift Only Enhanced Benefits including PTO. As an NDT Technician you will: Provide visual weld inspections and other non-destructive inspection to the steel fabrications assembly group. Perform receiving, in-stream process, and outgoing quality audits to validate cast and fabricated structures per weld engineering and manufacturing specifications. Responsible for tracking and entering inspection results in electronic databases. This is a full time opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: An associate degree in nondestructive testing or equivalent work experience. NDT certifications, especially Visual Welding Inspection preferred Related technical experience in NDT methods and processes An understanding of how to operate NDT equipment Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Keen attention to detail and ability to follow directions Pay Rate: \$21.00 - \$26.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate\'s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
