Arts in CT is a nonprofit organization that works to improve the lives of underserved members of our community by supporting artists, educating students about the arts and community building.

Arts in CT is committed to working within under-resourced neighborhoods. We believe that art can be used to solve social problems and create positive change for people who need it most. We support professional artists who bring their talents and experiences to our community. We also work with educators to make art part of their curriculum.

Overview

Arts In CT, a nonprofit organization that has enriched the lives of over 60,000 people through the arts, is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to support key creative projects. If you have a passion for design and want to make a meaningful impact, this role is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills while contributing to a nonprofit mission.

Responsibilities

  • Catalog Design Create or update Arts In CT’s catalog to showcase programs, services, and impact.
  • Logo Development Design a refreshed, professional logo that aligns with Arts In CT’s mission and branding.
  • Flyer Creation Design promotional flyers highlighting past accomplishments and upcoming activities.
  • Visual Content Develop visually engaging materials for newsletters, social media, and the website.
  • Collaboration Work closely with the Arts In CT team to ensure all materials align with the organization’s branding and goals.


Skills And Qualifications

  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience designing print and digital materials (flyers, catalogs, logos, etc.).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your creative work.
  • Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for visual storytelling.
  • Ability to take feedback and collaborate effectively with a team.
