Job Description

Summary

The Auto Mechanic is responsible for examining all vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.  Repair, reline, replace and adjust brakes and other repairs as required. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices.
  • Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors to determine appropriate action
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Performs all duties with the utmost professionalism, reliability, and integrity

Minimum Requirements:

  • Auto Mechanic experience
  • ASE Certified
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Master certification a plus
