Job Title: Facilities Project Manager
Location: Birmingham, Alabama

Type: 13 month Contract
Compensation: $40.00 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid
Hours: 4 days on-site and 1 day remote, 8:00am-5:00pm. Candidate  must be willing to come in the office 4 days a week.

System One is currently seeking a Facilities Project Manager on a 13 month contract position located in Birmingham, AL. 

Facilities Project Manager Responsibilities: 

• Oversees the planning, execution, and completion of facility-related projects.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure efficient utilization of resources, adherence to timelines, and successful project outcomes.
• Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline
• Allocate resources (personnel, materials, equipment) effectively to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and suppliers.
• Evaluate bids and negotiate contracts.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress and address issues promptly. Qu
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and address deficiencies.
• Regularly update stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any changes.

Facilities Project Manager Requirements: 

• 0 - 5 years experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Prior experience in project management, preferably in facilities or construction.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
