Job Description

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce management solutions, committed to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities. We have partnered with a company that provides mental health and behavioral health services to people with complex needs and w e are looking for an Human Resources Assistant (HR Assistant) to support our client for a 3-6 month contract with potential to convert. This role is r emote - Bi-weekly in office meetings w/ HR leader (Must live in LA/Ventura County or be willing to drive in to LA).

Hours: 

  • M-F 8am-5pm

Job Description/Duties: 

  • Assist with employee terminations, audits, and unemployment claims
  • Process I-9 forms and ensure compliance
  • Support pre-boarding, onboarding, and offboarding processes
  • Draft and manage employee communications and letters
  • Handle high-level HR processes with a strong task-oriented approach
  • Work with HR systems such as Kronos, UKG, and UltiPro (preferred)
  • Provide administrative support for HR-related documentation and record-keeping
  • Virtual support for multiple locations across LA County, Inland Empire, Orange County, and San Diego.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of HR administrative or HR assistant experience
  • Strong understanding of full cycle HR processes, terminology, and compliance
  • Experience handling high-volume HR support across multiple locations
  • SW: strong MS Office & Kronos/UKG/UltiPro experience desired
  • Industry experience is open – adaptable to various HR environments

Soft Skills/Nice to Haves:

  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Excellent written communication skills (letter writing to employees)
  • Ability to hit the ground running and quickly adapt to new processes
  • Reliable, customer-service oriented, and a strong team player
  • Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
  • Experience with EDD processes
