Compensation Range: $80,000 - 90,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled Java React Developer to join our client's dynamic team in Tampa, FL!

This role involves designing, developing, testing, and ensuring the operational stability of cutting-edge applications. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing Java 8+, Spring Framework, and React, while engaging in the full Software Development Life Cycle.

The position requires in-office presence for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain code using Java 8 or above and the Spring Framework (Security, Boot, JPA, REST).
• Design, develop, test, and ensure the operational stability of applications.
• Utilize SQL/PLSQL or NoSQL for database management and querying.
• Implement front-end technologies, particularly React.
• Debug and maintain code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
• Engage in the full Software Development Life Cycle.
• Apply agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Stay updated with emerging software applications and technical processes, including cloud, AI, machine learning, and mobile technology.
• Independently manage deployment pipelines, such as Jenkins.
• Use Git and version control systems like BitBucket, GitHub, and GitLab for version management.

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Education: Bachelors (required)
• Minimum of 3 years of project work experience; additional experience is advantageous.
• Cloud experience and certification(s) are highly valued, particularly AWS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Working knowledge of event-based messaging/queueing solutions.
• Curiosity, interest in continuous improvement, and continuous learning.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player.
• Passion for teamwork and mentorship, with the ability to guide junior team members.
