Job Description

The  J unior SEO Specialist position is a full-time, hybrid (in-office + remote) position within our full-service advertising agency. The role is a supportive position on the Digital Content team and reports directly to our SEO Specialist. In this role, the Junior SEO Specialist will help manage administrative duties such as: task/project management, ensuring content integrity, compiling up-to-date client-specific SEO priorities, organizing content, tracking branded search trends, client off-site SEO optimizations, and more. In addition to these duties, the Junior SEO Specialist will need to maintain open communication between the Accounts and Digital Content teams in order to ensure all client strategies are being fully realized between departments.

This position is heavy in digital content creation/building and data analytics. 

The Junior SEO Specialist will meet with the SEO Specialist each week to coordinate efforts and ensure all client goals and tasks are well-outlined and accomplished in a timely manner. The Junior SEO Specialist will also meet weekly with the Digital Content team to discuss team developments and changes. This role will be provided robust training on the platforms and deliverables expected while in this role. This is a full time role with a set schedule of Monday-Friday 8 hour workday, with a mix of in-house and remote working throughout the week.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Task/project management for a robust list of agency clients
  • Content creation and approval including but not limited to: website landing pages, blog posts, digital press releases
  • Compiling and circulating data trends across multiple clients/industries
  • Content/SEO audits
  • Managing off-site optimizations including Google Business Profile listings, YouTube channels, and more

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • English or marketing experience or course-related work a plus
  • Past search engine optimization (SEO) experience a plus
  • Past data analytics experience a plus
