We are seeking a React Software Developer with the ability to work individually or as part of a team and eagerness to gain a greater depth and breadth of experience.
The React Software Developer will be responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining applications and software systems focused on improving the daily lifecycle of freight handling and deliveries. They will engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analyzing user/business system requirements, design, development, quality/performance testing, and support both already developed and currently being developed.
Essential Job Duties - Design and develop new UI features for Browser based applications.
- Ability to code and build Javascript platform using React Next, Nginx, Linux, Node.js, and Python and other systems as required.
- Design and maintain applications to meet data security and integrity.
- Design and maintain APIs for the frontend.
- Maintain and support existing applications built using React and Angular including handling deployments and managing nginx configurations.
- Participate in design meetings and work with business users to refine, test, and debug programs.
- Performance and Quality testing, including working with beta testers to test applications to assure they support business needs.
- Analyze and resolve technical debt proactively.
- Work with Vendors to get support for 3rd party plugins and addons.
- Work with cross-functional disciplines such as Product Owners, UX design, Operations, Project Management and Business Owners.
- Deliver software in a scrum/agile environment using Jira or similar applications.
- Act as the subject matter expert for assigned areas of responsibility.
- On-time delivery of designs and application software.
- Provide solutions that meet quality standards and service levels and are scalable, secure and easily maintainable.
- Present innovative technologies to save time and development cost.
- Architect React applications and design best practices.
- Ensure that all processes and procedures are followed, and quality standards are met.

Minimum Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field
- Experience with programming with AngularJS is preferred but not required.
- Experience with AWS/Azure and Docker/Kubernetes preferred but not required.
- Experience with Graphic/UX design experience preferred but not required.
- Experience working with onshore and offshore software development team members.
- Experience with Enterprise, Solution and Data Architecture.
- Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and best practices.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and verbal), multi-tasking, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to perform well under tight deadlines and challenges.
- Provide effective communication with leadership and project teams.
- Experience with other front-end technologies such as Angular will be preferred but not required.
Classification will depend on a combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
React Software Developer – Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000- 1+ years of software development in an Agile development methodology.
- 1+ years of experience with programming in React Next, Nginx, Linux, Node.js/Python.
- 1+ Experience working with unit testing frameworks.
Sr React Software Developer – Salary Range: $85,000-$105,000- 5+ years of software development in an Agile development methodology.
- 3+ years of experience with programming in React Next, Nginx, Linux, Node.js/Python.
- 3+ Experience working with unit testing frameworks.
WORK CONDITIONS - Remote or standard office environment.
- The ability to work irregular hours/days when necessary.
- Travel as needed
