Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is critical in supporting accurate and timely financial reporting for a publicly traded company. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with month-end and year-end close processes, SOX compliance, and fixed asset accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries during monthly and year-end close processes.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and conduct flux/variance analysis .
• Manage accounting for fixed assets and prepaid expenses .
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and internal policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing required schedules and explanations.
• Use Blackline for account reconciliations and NetSuite for general ledger activities (experience preferred).
• Support process improvements and maintain proper documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in a publicly traded company .
• Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance .
• Experience with month-end and year-end close .
• Proficiency in fixed asset and prepaid accounting .
• Experience with NetSuite and Blackline preferred.
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.
