Xavier High School is searching for a motivated and collaborative teacher to join our mission driven team of educators. As a Xavier faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching talented young men from diverse backgrounds and means to take responsibility, lead with integrity, act justly, serve others, and pursue excellence in an academically rigorous, Catholic, Jesuit, college preparatory environment in New York City. Your responsibilities will include lesson planning, classroom management, grading assignments, evaluating students’ progress, curriculum development and co-curricular leadership.
The ideal candidate should be a competent professional with in-depth knowledge of the subject matter, an openness to growth, a commitment to the art and craft of teaching, and an understanding of professional boundaries and appropriate conduct. In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, an attractive candidate will also meet the following criteria.
We are looking for a full-time Spanish language teacher to begin in September of 2025. Competitive salary is commensurate with experience.
