ROLE DESCRIPTION:
TWO E-commerce Back End Developer positions will be located at our Madison Ave in NYC and in Enfield, CT office.
This role offers you the opportunity to use your digital skills to support the future growth E-commerce environment. You will work in cross-functional SCRUM/Agile environment partnering with Digital Marketing and other teams within the IT organization to develop Omni Channel solutions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
·This position affords you the opportunity to work on one of the leading E-commerce platforms, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware)
·Utilize the platform capabilities to implement new features
·Launch Global E-commerce sites.
·Extend APIs to support corporate Mobile App
·Play a critical role in digital storefront integration
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL PROFICIENCIES:
·2+ years of work experience
·Degree in Computer Science or related field
·Strong Knowledge of J2EE including knowledge of EJBs, Struts, JDBC, Servlets/JSP, XML parsing and manipulation and SOA
·Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles
·Experience with E-commerce / Digital environment
·Prior experience or Knowledge of E-commerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Magento / SAP Hybris) is a plus
·Knowledge of Web Technologies and Application development - JavaScript, AngularJS, JQuery
·Experience building responsive and adaptive pages
·Prior experience or understanding of Middleware integration platforms like Dell Boomi is a plus
·Prior experience or Knowledge of AWS Cloud Development (Lambda functions, API Gateway etc.) is a plus
·Understanding of Web Security Standards, CDN concepts, and Performance Monitoring tools
·Experience with agile SCRUM development methodologies, SDLC
·Knowledge of SVN, JIRA
·Self-starter with excellent communication skills
