สยามทบพัน ประกาศความสำเร็จ คว้ารางวัล “Prime Minister's Industry Award”

สยามทบพันแพคเกจจิ้ง ผู้นำเทคโนโลยีด้านบรรจุภัณฑ์และผลิตภัณฑ์คุณภาพ รับรางวัลเกียรติยศ “Prime Minister's Industry Award 2019” หรือ รางวัลอุตสาหกรรมดีเด่น ประจำปี 2562 ด้านศักยภาพ ตอกย้ำการดำเนินงานอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพเพื่อประโยชน์ส่วนรวมของสังคมไทย

มร.ซาโตชิ คาวาดะ กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท สยามทบพันแพคเกจจิ้ง จำกัด กล่าวว่า บริษัทได้รับรางวัล Prime Minister's Industry Award 2019 หรือ รางวัลอุตสาหกรรมดีเด่น ประจำปี 2562 ด้านศักยภาพ ซึ่งจัดโดยกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อประกาศเกียรติคุณและเป็นกำลังใจให้แก่ผู้ประกอบการที่มีนวัตกรรม การสร้างสรรค์ทั้งสินค้าและการบริการให้แก่ผู้บริโภค

สำหรับแนวทางการดำเนินการที่ส่งผลให้บริษัทได้รับรางวัลดังกล่าว เนื่องด้วยตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา บริษัทมีความตระหนักและให้ความสำคัญในการดำเนินงานควบคู่กับการมีความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม หรือ CSR ไปพร้อมๆ กัน ซึ่งการันตีได้จากการได้รับรางวัลอุตสาหกรรมสีเขียว ระดับ 5 (Green Industry Level 5) เครือข่ายสีเขียว โดยสนับสนุนให้คู่ค้าและพันธมิตรเข้าสู่อุตสาหกรรมสีเขียว ผ่านห่วงโซ่อุปทาน รวมทั้งสร้างและสานสัมพันธ์กิจกรรมด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมกับชุมชนและผู้บริโภค รวมถึงรางวัล CSR-DIW Continuous ซึ่งได้รับติดต่อกัน 5 ปี เป็นต้น

โดยรางวัล Prime Minister's Industry Award 2019 ที่ได้รับในครั้งนี้ นับเป็นเป็นความภาคภูมิใจของบริษัทเป็นอย่างมาก ซึ่งจะส่งผลดีและมีประโยชน์ต่อบริษัททั้งภายในและภายนอก โดยในส่วนภายในองค์กร จะเป็นการเพิ่มแรงจูงใจให้แก่พนักงานในการทำงานมากยิ่งขึ้น ส่วนภายนอก จะช่วยยกระดับความน่าเชื่อถือให้กับลูกค้าได้เป็นอย่างดี ขณะเดียว กันรางวัลนี้ยังถือเป็นความท้าทายว่าในอนาคตบริษัทจะยังคงรักษามาตรฐานและคุณภาพที่ดีไว้ได้เช่นเดิมหรือไม่

 “การได้รับรางวัลนี้ถือเป็นเรื่องที่ดีต่อบริษัทอย่างมาก ซึ่งเรารู้สึกเป็นเกียรติและภาคภูมิใจ ดังนั้น จึงอยากจะเชิญชวนบริษัทหรือผู้ประกอบการรายอื่นๆ ที่ยังไม่เคยเข้าร่วมหรืออาจจะยังไม่ทราบว่ากระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมมีการจัดประกวดรางวัลนี้ ให้มาสมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการ เพราะนอกจากจะได้รับรางวัลแห่งความภาคภูมิใจแล้วยังถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งรางวัลเกียรติยศ ที่นายกรัฐมนตรีเป็นผู้มอบรางวัลด้วยตัวเอง เราจึงอยากจะให้บริษัทอื่นๆ ได้รับประสบการณ์ดีๆ เช่นเดียวกับสยามทบพัน” มร.ซาโตชิกล่าว

นอกจากนี้ในปี 2563 บริษัทมีแผนที่จะเข้าร่วมประกวดในโครงการอีกครั้ง แต่จะมุ่งเน้นด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมเป็นหลัก ซึ่งปัจจุบัน บริษัทเตรียมแผนที่จะติดตั้งแผงวงจรโซล่าเซลล์บริเวณด้านบนสุดของอาคาร เพื่อช่วยลดก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ อีกทั้งยังเป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยใช้งบประมาณกว่า 20 ล้านบาท และได้รับการสนับสนุนจากคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI)

ส่วนรางวัลแห่งความสำเร็จที่ได้รับในด้านอื่นๆ ซึ่งสามารถการันตีผลงานคุณภาพของบริษัทได้เป็นอย่างดี เช่น รางวัลด้านการออกแบบ ThaiStar Packaging Awards และ AsiaStar Awards, รางวัลสถานประกอบการดีเด่นด้านความปลอดภัย ระดับประเทศ, รางวัลประกวดสิ่งพิมพ์แห่งชาติ (Thai Print Awards), รางวัล 3Rs Award และ รางวัลสถานประกอบกิจการต้นแบบดีเด่นด้านความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัยและสภาพแวดล้อม เป็นต้น

มร.ซาโตชิ กล่าวต่อว่า ในปี 2562 บริษัทคาดการณ์รายได้ใกล้เคียงกับปี 2561 ที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งเป็นผลมาจากสภาวะเศรษฐกิจในปีนี้ รวมถึงเงินบาทที่แข็งค่ามากขึ้น จึงส่งผลกระทบต่อการส่งออก สำหรับกลุ่มลูกค้าของบริษัทแบ่งออกเป็น 3 กลุ่มหลัก ดังนี้ 1. กลุ่มธุรกิจอาหาร 35% 2. กลุ่มธุรกิจสินค้าที่ใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน 35% และ 3. กลุ่มธุรกิจอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ 30%

ด้านจุดเด่นที่ทำให้ลูกค้าเชื่อมั่นและไว้วางใจเลือกใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์ของบริษัท ประกอบด้วย 1. เทคโนโลยีและเทคนิคขั้นสูงในการผลิตบรรจุภัณฑ์ โดยบริษัทได้มีการส่งบุคลากรไปเรียนรู้งานจากบริษัทแม่ที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่น เพื่อนำความรู้มาปรับใช้กับเทคโนโลยี รวมทั้ง การพัฒนาการผลิตบรรจุภัณฑ์ให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น 2. สินค้าที่มีคุณภาพเชื่อถือได้ และ 3. การบริการที่ดี

Siam Toppan announce success of Prime Minister's Industry Award

Siam Toppan Packaging, leader in quality packaging technology, got an honourable award “Prime Minister's Industry Award 2019” in the category of Potential industry, showing the efficient performance to benefit Thai Society.

Mr.Satoshi Kawada, Managing Director of Siam Toppan Packaging, said that receiving the Prime Minister's Industry Award 2019 in the category of potential industry, organized by the Ministry of Industry, is to announce the honour and to encourage the entrepreneurs on their innovation and creativity of products and services towards consumers.

Regarding the company’s management that led to the award winning, the company has been aware and given importance on operation together with corporate social responsibility (CSR) throughout the period. It is guaranteed by receiving Green Industry Level 5 Award (Green Network) by supporting partners and alliances to enter Green Industry certification process through supply chain. Besides, the company has continued environmental activities with communities and consumers and got CSR-DIW Continuous Award for five consecutive years.

The Prime Minister's Industry Award 2019 is a great sense of pride to the company. It will bring great advantages to both inside and outside the company. It increases both employee motivation at work and credibility for customers. At the same time, the award also challenges whether the company still keeps the good standard and quality in the future.

“Receiving the award is really good for the company. We feel honoured and proud. Furthermore, in 2020, The company plans to apply for the award in the field of environment. At this moment, it is preparing to install solar panels on the top of the building for the reduction of carbon dioxide and eco-friendly. The budget is more than 20 million baht and supported by the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI).

Besides, the company has got other successful awards which can guarantee its quality such as design awards ‘ThaiStar Packaging Awards’ and ‘AsiaStar Awards’, Excellent Establishment on Safety at National Level, Thai Print Awards, 3Rs Award, including Outstanding Establishment Models on Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment, etc.

Mr.Kawada continued that “2019 revenue is estimated almost as same as 2018, resulting from this year’s economic situation and strong baht which affect the export. The company’s customer groups is divided into 3 groups as follows 1. Food industry 35% 2.Daily use products industry25% 3. Electronics industry 30%.

Outstanding points in which customers trust and decide to use its products consist of 1.high technology and technique in packaging production: Thai staff are sent on training at Headquarter in Japan in order to bring knowledge to adapt to technology and develop packaging production more efficiently 2. Quality reliable products 3. Good service

“Siam Toppan Packaging is a joint venture between SCG Packaging PCL and Toppan Printing Co.,Ltd. from Japan. We give priority to personnel development of knowledge and competency, so we send them on training at the Head Office in Japan in order that they bring the knowledge to adapt to technology for much better packaging production.” said Mr.Kawada.

Regarding the message to customers, the vision of the company is “provide package for the enriching life”. The most important thing is to provide the eco-friendly, easy-to-use beautiful packaging. At the same time, the company also aims to work for benefit of Thai society.
